Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v (/ˈnejjʊj/ /rəˑ/ [glove] [violet]) is a subtropical City located in the Bupudana Region of the Tetburland.
The name Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v is derived from the Sylvin language, as Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v was founded by Brèbê, who was culturaly Tauran.
Climate
Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v has a yearly average temperature of 27°C (80°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 31°C (87°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 24°C (75°F). Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v receives an average of 195 cm/y (76 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v covers an area of nearly 27 km2 (10 mi2), and an average elevation of 4474 m (14678 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v was founded durring the late 12th century in winter of the year 1058, by Brèbê. The establishment of Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v's construction back out of the project. Brèbê pushed on reguardles, and Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v was built using the conventions of Tauran durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.
Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v is buildings are arranged arround a single spacious paverstone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the city a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The city is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The peasent-grade have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.
A look around Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v's natural decorations nor waterways.
Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.
Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is inspired by the natural world, characterized by sinuous, sculptural, organic shapes, arches, curving lines, and sensual ornamentation. Common motifs included stylized versions of leaves, flowers, vines, insects, animals, and other natural elements. Decorative elements found on the inside and outside of buildings include intricate mosaic work, curved windows, and decorative trim work. .
In Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v there is a constant smell of overcooked presumably ethnic food.
The Beetle, Giant Slicer near Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
Nejjùjrā Ji̊ Qi̊v's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves reenactments to channel Conjuration energies of tier 3 via moments of science.
